Park Place

Park Place

Narrative Description

Park Place is the largest mixed-used economic development project currently underway along the Georgia Avenue Corridor. The District-controlled site was awarded to Donatelli Development, which is building 156 condos, 17,000 square feet of street-level retail and underground parking all atop the Georgia-Ave Petworth Metrorail Station in the Petworth neighborhood. The project is a catalyst for this section of Lower-Georgia Avenue , where several hundred million in economic development projects are now in various stages of development. The District alone is working with several developers on nearby mixed-used projects, while Donatelli has two other projects within a block of Park Place.
